Appointment Deposit and Cancellation Policy

 

At Elegant Visuals Auto Detailing, we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional service and ensuring that your vehicle is treated with the utmost care. As of January 2025, we are implementing a deposit policy for all appointments in order to improve scheduling efficiency and minimize disruptions caused by last-minute cancellations or no-shows.

 

By booking an appointment with us, you’re reserving a dedicated time slot in our schedule, and we want to ensure that we can provide the best service possible to every client. Unfortunately, in recent weeks, we’ve experienced a significant increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows, which has affected our ability to serve other clients and manage our schedule efficiently.

 

Deposit Structure

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment based on the total price of your services.

 

  • $25 Deposit for services under $150

  • $50 Deposit for services between $151 and $300

  • $100 Deposit for services over $300

 

This deposit is applied toward the final price of your service at the time of checkout. It is not an additional fee; it’s part of the total cost of the service.

 

For example, if your service costs $400 and you’ve paid a $50 deposit, the balance due at the time of service will be $350.

 

Why Is a Deposit Required?

The main reason for the deposit is to help prevent the inconvenience caused by no-shows or last-minute cancellations, which can disrupt our schedule and affect other customers. By requiring a deposit, we ensure that clients are serious about their appointments, which allows us to serve all our clients efficiently.

 

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. This deposit ensures we can continue providing top-quality service while respecting everyone’s time.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. If notice is given within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, the deposit will not be refunded, and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.

 

What If the Weather is Bad?

For mobile detailing services, weather can significantly impact our ability to perform the service. If the weather conditions are unsuitable for detailing (e.g., heavy rain, snow, or extremely hot or cold temperatures), we will reschedule your appointment at no additional charge, and no extra deposit will be required.

 

For services at our shop location, we can continue working in most weather conditions, so we are still able to proceed unless the weather is extreme (e.g., severe storms). In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule.

 

Summary of Our Policy:

  • Deposits are required to secure your appointment (amount depends on the total cost of your service).

  • Deposits are non-refundable but will go toward your final service price.

  • 24-hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling, or a new deposit will be necessary.

  • Weather-related rescheduling: If bad weather affects your mobile service, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost. For shop services, we proceed unless the weather is severe.
